KidzoneInterR curriculum is designed based on HighScope philosophy: children learn best through playing and interaction with materials, people and environment around them. Considering play as a major avenue of learning for toddlers and preschoolers, Kidzone space is designed to provide as many learning centers as possible to bring them plenty of opportunities for playing and learning during a day. Our curriculum not only helps young children excel in literacy and cognitive learning, builds up their confidence and love for beauty, but also develops the fundamental skills that help determine success in their life.
KidzoneInterR Curriculum is going to create a 100% English playing and learning environment to children at a very young age. Our teachers from native English speaking countries will be the ones who PLAY, ENGAGE and ENCOURAGE children. With their good qualifications and a warm heart for young children, they are willing to:
- provide children opportunities to develop concepts by exploring and working with familiar classroom equipment and materials in a variety of ways.
- expose them to different topics of study, ideas, concepts that may be unfamiliar to them.
- read books and dance with them.
- provide a variety of materials for them to explore
- take them on field trips, stay with them on their meal time
- have them write, draw, build, and engage in dramatic play. These experiences will help the children to incorporate what they are learning with what they already know.
- listen to them when they need a friend to talk to.
- observe and analyze their development every day.
What’s new in Kidzone International Curriculum?
- STEM: The idea of integrating science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) into learning centers is relatively new. Since science is an avenue to children to learn about their world, it fits naturally with learning centers at Kidzone International Campus. Integration of STEM in the early years exposes young children to a problem solving approach to learning that aligns with their own curiosity. KidzoneInterR builds a Modern Science Lab for children to carry their STEM activities and we hope the integration of STEM in KidzoneInterR setting may spark children’s interest and increase preparation in these fields in future.
- MUSICAL STEPS: Music plays a vital role in children’s social, emotional and neurological development. In many parts of the world, music-making is as natural and fundamental to daily life as talking, eating and sleeping and every child deserves to be introduced to music in a fun and accesible way. In KidzoneInterR, children have a very pleasing music room, where they can sing, dance, and learn about musical instruments through Musical Steps program. Musical Steps will introduce children to:
+ instrumental music: children have chances to hear the different instruments being used without being distracted with language.
+ singing: singing helps children distinguish between a singing voice and a speaking voice, and it helps them to produce sounds in patterns and rhythms that match those of others.
+ making music: making instruments is a great way to help children learn about materials and the sounds they make.
- MAGAZINES READING: magazines are a great source of information and engagement for children. KidzoneInterR provides a series of English preschool magazines (Lady Bugs, Zootles and Clicks) which full of beautiful photos, fabulous topics, and a wonderful layout for discussion. Children can engage in plenty of activities through discovering a magazine with their teacher and friends. They are also getting familiar to variety of formats of text in a magazine: comics, poems, short-stories, puzzles, riddles….
BOX: OPENDING DAY PROMOTION
Kidzone International Campus is expected to be officially opened on August 20th, 2018 at 15A-15B, Road 11, Thao Dien Ward, District 2, HCMC.
On this occasion, Kidzone International Campus offers a 20% off promotion for the first 20 students who enroll in advance (this promotion will be only applied for 6-month tuition fee package). In addition, students who take part and enroll on the Opening day will be given a 1,000,000 VND registration voucher.
